Hydrophyllum virginianum

Virginia Waterleaf (Hydrophyllum virginianum) is a seasonal plant with white blooms in late spring. They prefer mesic soil in part sun to shade, where they grow up to 2 feet tall. They are a good choice for shaded slopes and banks. Companion plants include Lady Fern (Athyrium felix-femina) and Wild Ginger (Asarum canadense).
