Anise Hyssop (Agastache foeniculum) is a seasonal plant with spikes of lavender flowers from early to mid-summer. They prefer mesic to dry soil in sun or part sun where they can grow up to 4 feet tall. They are a good choice for slopes and banks. Companion plants include Purple Poppy Mallow (Callirhoe involucrata) and Orange Coneflower (Rudbeckia fulgida).
Maintenance
If planted in wetter soils, crown rot may develop.
