Cream Wild Indigo

Baptisia bracteata

Cream Wild Indigo (Baptisia bracteata) is a seasonal plant with creamy white flowers in mid-spring. They prefer mesic to dry soil in full sun where they grow to 2 feet tall. They are a good choice for bioretention banks and slopes. Companion plants include Pale Purple Coneflower (Echinacea pallida) and Prairie Dropseed (Sporobolous heterolepis).
