Culver's Root (Veronicastrum virginicum) is a structural plant with white flowers in early to mid-summer. They prefer moist to mesic soil in full to part sun where they grow up to 5 feet tall. They are a good choice for slopes and basins. Companion plants include Iron Butterfly' Ironweed (Vernonia lettermanii 'Iron Butterfly') and Palm Sedge (Carex muskigemensis).
Plants may need staking while in bloom. No other serious maintenance needs.
