Goldenrod 'Fireworks'

Solidago rugosa 'Fireworks'

'Fireworks' Goldenrod (Solidago rugosa 'Fireworks') is a seasonal plant with yellow flowers late summer through fall. They prefer moist soil in sun to part sun, tolerating some shade, where they grow up to 5 feet tall. They are a good choice for slopes and basins. Companion plants include Palm Sedge (Carex muskigemensis) and White Turtlehead (Chelone glabra).

Maintenance

Plants may spread aggressively in settings with little competition by surrounding plants. Rust and Powdery Mildew are occasional problems.
