Marsh Marigold (Caltha palustris) is a seasonal interest plant with yellow flowers in early spring. They prefer wet soil in sun to part sun where they can grow up to 2 feet tall. They are a good choice for basins where there is consistent moisture. Companion plants include White Turtlehead (Chelone glabra) and Southern Blue Flag Iris (Iris virginica var. shrevei).
Maintenance
Soil should not be allowed to dry out. No other serious maintenance needs.
