Tall Anemone (Anemone virginiana) is a seasonal and structural plant with white flowers in early summer, followed by attractive seed structures that persist through winter. They prefer mesic to moist soil in full sun to part shade where they grow to 3 feet tall. They are a good choice for bioretention slopes. Companion plants include Goatsbeard (Aruncus dioicus) and Palm Sedge (Carex muskigemensis).
